Personally, I don’t think there’s a more underrated location for photography in all of Europe than Alentejo. While holiday-makers and photographers head to the Algarve, the locals tend to keep Alentejo a secret.
This arid region of the country is full of castles, rolling hills, and skies wide open to the night sky.
This photography tour combines the absolute best of both the Algarve and Alentejo over 10 days.

The Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Faro.
- Day 2: Locations around Faro.
- Day 3: Travel to Carvoeiro + Benagil Caves.
- Day 4: Travel to Lagos.
- Day 5: Locations near Lagos and Sagres.
- Day 6: Travel to Odeceixe
- Day 7: Travel to Evora
- Day 8: Travel to Beja
- Day 10: Travel to Mertola
- Day 11: Transfer to Faro / Tour ends around noon.
A more detailed tour itinerary can be sent upon request. On an average day, though, we have a sunrise photo location, travel and explore in the morning, relax a bit in the afternoon, and then photograph another location at sunset. Overall, we’ll do our best to ensure you get the best out of your photography of Portugal.

The Price of the tour is €2,599
To book the trip, you’ll pay a deposit of €400 now, then a final payment will be requested 60 days before the tour start date.
