About the beans:
The ‘Awash River’ coffee comes from the Yigacheffe region in Southern Ethiopia. The beans are naturally processed by smallholder famers along the river Awash. In this region, coffee is the main lifeblood of the people who rely on the trade to sustain their communities.
This region of Ethiopia has a well-earned reputation for producing some of the best coffees in the world. The Awash if a mineral rich sourch of clean water and the combination of the soils, high altitude, and sunny days make it the perfect place to grow these arabica beans.
This bean is roasted at Al-Gharb in Albufeira, Portugal.
